Classes Dance Classes
Dance classes are available for young tots (pre-school age) up to young adults (year 13) and we teach Freestyle/Commercial. Tots and Stars learn Latin and Ballroom as well. Older students can learn Latin as a separate lesson. All students can take IDTA examinations and perform in whole school shows at local theatres.
Musical Theatre Musical Theatre is composed of singing, dancing and acting. Students must be at least 6 years old and in school Year two or above. They do not take examinations but work towards shows that are performed at local theatres at the end of each year. During classes we aim to build confidence, have fun, work on vocals, improve acting skills and learn dance routines. We often play games to help with our aims, but when working towards a show that will be our main focus. It is advisable to take dance lessons to compliment Musical Theatre, but there is no obligation!
